Hah! 7:00 a.m.? We should be so lucky! Our Red (or as we like to call him "Clockwork Orange" starts at around 5:30 and doesn't give up until we get up.
Oh no Kat, it's 7am on the days I get to sleep in. It's 5:30am inevitably on the days I'm supposed to get up at 6, and that just stinks because then I can't even really go back to bed :-P And Amber, that's too funny that your cat licks your face. Tigger just meows- really loudly- in my ear. Yes, she's discovered that the ear is what really wakes me up.
Our family solution was to put the cat in the basement when she'd wake us up early. the cat soon learned that there was such a thing as too early. hooray operant conditioning.
Nick- I have no basement :( And you'd think after 10 years of locking Tigger in the bathroom she'd learn, but no. She spits in the face of operant conditioning.
Hahaha. I need one too, I need a "stop licking my face" button though. LOL
